How to make it

  • In a large pot of water, cook the pasta according to package directions. 5 minutes before the pasta is fully cooked, add the broccoli and the carrots to slightly cook them. Drain the water, keep covered and reserve.
  • In a large saucepan, brown the meat (beef, chicken, pork or veal or else) and the onion and cook until done and the onion is transparent. Remove excess fat.
  • Add the cream soup of your choice, the milk and dry mustard.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and add the cooked pasta, vegetables and cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, cover with a lid and simmer for another 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
