How to make it

  • ***Cook time is standing time.***
  • Reserve 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar for rolling shaped candies.
  • Combine remaining sugar and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and knead together.
  • Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in remaining confectioner's sugar. Arrange rum balls on a baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 48 hours before serving/storing.

    I remember these little gems during the holidays. I have recently become allergic to wheat and will seek out cookies to make this because they are soooooooooooooooo good!
