Rum Balls

- 2 c. finely-crushed vanilla wafers shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar, divided shopping list
- 1/2 c. walnuts, toasted and chopped fine shopping list
- 1 TBSP. cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. allspice shopping list
- 1/4 c. plus 1 TBSP. dark rum shopping list
- 1/4 c. dark corn syrup shopping list
- 2 TBSP. butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- ***Cook time is standing time.***
- Reserve 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar for rolling shaped candies.
- Combine remaining sugar and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and knead together.
- Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in remaining confectioner's sugar. Arrange rum balls on a baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 48 hours before serving/storing.
