Turnovers with honey coconut or walnutor hazelnut or almond

- 1 c white sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs. shopping list
- 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour. shopping list
- 1 ts baking powder. shopping list
- 1 ts vanille sugar. shopping list
- 1 c olive oil. shopping list
- 1/2 c honey (thyme if available). shopping list
- 1 c shredded nuts ( choose your own). shopping list
- 1-2 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 tbs water. shopping list
- baking paper. shopping list
- confectionners sugar. shopping list
How to make it
- Beat sugar and eggs together till smooth ( ca 10 min).
- Whisk floor and baking powder and vanille sugar together, add to sugar egg mixture and keep beating till the dough is firm.
- Combine honey and nuts in a bowl for the filling.
- Roll out the dough of thickness 1/2 cm, cut in circles of ca 15 cm.
- Combine egg yolks with 1 tbs water and beat slightly with a fork.
- Put a spoonful of filling on each circle half, fold to a half moon, or use turnover flipper, wet edges and press to seal.
- Brush top with egg yolk water mixture, continue till dough and filling are done.
- Brush a baking pan with olive oil, cover bottom with baking paper, put turnovers in the pan.
- Preheat oven to 175 C and bake for 30 min.
- Cool and top with confectionner sugar.
