Chocolate Caramel Cookies

- 2 ½ c. flour shopping list
- ¾ c. cocoa shopping list
- 1 t. baking soda shopping list
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 1 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 c. butter shopping list
- 2 t. vanilla shopping list
- ½ c. chopped pecans shopping list
- 40 “Rolo” caramels shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- ½ c. ground pecans shopping list
- 1 T. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter. Beat in sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, beat well. Add flour, cocoa and baking soda. Stir in pecans. Shape a tablespoon of dough around 1 Rolo caramel, making sure it is completely covered. Press one side of each ball into the nut topping and place “nut-side-up” on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° oven for 10-12 minutes.
