Ingredients

How to make it

  • Prepare Essence in a small container. Clean and wash shrimp and lay out in a single layer on a large platter. Dry with a paper towel.
  • Sprinkle liberally with the Essence - I use approximately 2 tbsp. Be generous! Let the shrimp rest for 30 minutes with the rub.
  • Begin the shrimp by heating a large skillet on high heat and add the olive oil. It should be very hot, but not smoking. Add the shrimp on one side of the pan. Overcrowding is what produces a limp shrimp, don't want that! Let the shrimp rest on one side of the pan for approximately one minute, then begin to saute and spread around the pan.
  • Saute on high until shrimp starts to turn pink. Remove from heat and place shrimp in a large serving bowl. Sprinkle liberally with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
