Monster fingers

- 1 C. butter (room temp.) shopping list
- 1/2 C. confectioners sugar shopping list
- 2 t. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 3/4 C. flour shopping list
- 1/4 t/ salt shopping list
- slivered almonds shopping list
- tube of red food gel shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter; gradually beat in 1/2 C. confectioners sugar. add 1 t. vanilla extract, flour & salt. Mix well and chill.
- Shape dough into small logs (resembeling fingers). Using a small butter-knife, make 2-3 indentations in the middle of the "fingers", (resembling knukles). At the end of each "finger", using the butter-knife, make an indentation (finger nail) and place a slivered almond in the indentation. Bake @ 300 for 18 - 20 min. or until lightly golden.
- after the cookies have cooled; using the red gel, go around the outside of each slivered almond (finger nail).
