Halloween Pumpkin Cake

- 1 pkg - 2 layer size cake mix - any flavor of your choice shopping list
- 1 pkg (250g) cream cheese - softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter - softened shopping list
- 4 cups icing sugar shopping list
- Few drops each - green, red & yellow food coloring shopping list
- 1 Flat bottomed icecream cone shopping list
How to make it
- Grease & flour 12 cup fluted bundt pan
- Mix & bake cake mix according to instructions on pkg
- Cool in pan 10 mins
- Invert cake onto a wire rack to cool completely
- Meanwhile :- With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat cream cheese & butter until well blended
- Gradually add icing sugar, beating well until blended
- Remove 1/2 cup frosting to a small bowl
- Add green food coloring a few drops at a time & mix well until the desired color is reached
- Spread 1/2 the green frosting onto the icecream cone & set aside
- Set aside the rest of the green frosting
- To the remaining white frosting add red & yellow food coloring until you have a nice orange color
- Spread onto cake to resemble a pumpkin
- Place the reserved green icing in a plastic bag, squeeze out the air, snip a tiny tip off one corner & pipe vertical lines up the cake & at intervals all around
- Invert the frosted icecream cone into the hole in the center of the cake to resemble a stem
