Awesome Wonton Soup

- 1 lb of ground pork shopping list
- 1/4 pound of minced shrimp (optional) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 head of napa cabbage shopping list
- 1 stalk of green onion - cut into 1/2 inches sections shopping list
- 1 can of water chestnuts shopping list
- 1 can of mushrooms shopping list
- approximately 12 cups of chicken broth (I use low sodium) shopping list
- Worchester sauce to taste shopping list
- soy sauce to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Combine chicken broth, green onion, worchester sauce, & soy sauce in a large sauce pot... gradually warm (when you are almost done making the wontons you will increase heat to bring to a vigorous boil.)
- Using a food processer mince the greens of the Napa cabbage, mushrooms, & water chestnuts-- set aside.
- In large bowl mix ground pork (if you add the shrimp, add it now), egg, and a few dashes of worchester sauce & soy sauce. Add the veggie mix from above.
- get a small bowl of water to dip fingers in.
- Take the wonton wrappers and add filling to centers of each- moisten sides, and fold like an envelope (most have instruction on packages)
- Once you are done making wontons, drop them into boiling broth. Add any leftover pork mixture.
- Boil for about 15 mintues.
- Eat & Enjoy!!
