Maple Nut Mousse Pie

From Vermont agriculture bureau for a quick, sinful sweet pie
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup shopping list
- 3 eggs separated shopping list
- 1 cup choped walnuts shopping list
- chocolate cookie crumb pie shell shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 2 cups whiped topping shopping list
- 2 tbs shaved chocloate shopping list
How to make it
- Beat yolks bright yellow in color.
- Add maple syrup and salt.
- Cook in double boiler till mixtures thicken
- Cool
- Beat whites stiff.
- Fold into cooled mixture with 2/3rds of whipped topping together.
- Pour into shell.
- Cover with remaining topping
- Sprinkle with chocolate
- Freeze at least 4 hours
