    BTW..see pic above.. I am using apples in everything...(you know...) and the pears
    are going to take the place of apples.. about
    1.5 cups..(don't forget spices) the nuts are
    going in and on ..(lightly toasted)

    Hi Mark...Hope you are well...Can you please edit the recipe to reflect me as the originator of this because I want to do a group and put this in as people seem to have fun with this and I love your stuff and your recipes and ideas and hope you liked what I added....It's so much fun to think of new stuff with just a handful of ingredients..my best to you....pw...susie

    Radicchio-pear Salad
    1 Tbsp. strong brewed tea, such as Earl Gray
    1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
    2 tsp. E-V OO
    2 tsp. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard
    Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
    2 heads, washed, dried and torn radicchio
    2 pears, peeled, cored and chopped
    1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Whisk together first 6 ingredients. Add radicchio and pears and toss well. Sprinkle with walnuts.

    This is a total gas! Does anyone have the original game with the 3 ingred. given by mystic river or puddlewonderful?

    Boil the juice from the pears with cider vinegar, tomato sauce, cumin and chili powder.
    Add pears and let sit to room temperature.
    Finely chop walnuts and mix with salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder and paprika. Rub on ribs.
    Coat ribs in final cooking stage and brush with bar-b-que sauce. Chop marinated pears and serve as a salsa on the side. Hey I might post this!!

    ya know I cant think of it but I've heard of a cake that uses tomato soup or sauce I'm going to look around to find it I'll let ya know!

    Thanks for all the wonderful comments! I was thinking a pizza with some nice sauce made from the tomato sauce add the pears and walnuts and then throw in a little gorgonzola cheese and bake... any bites? This is so fun!

    alright....the pears and walnuts go in a salad and the tomato sauce goes with pasta so you have a pasta and salad dinner...more later.....puddle

    Markeverette...Actually I came up with the idea and Mystic River who is incredible and talented put up a recipe that blew my mind...but I glad you like the idea and I think it's a lot of fun and LanaCountry suggested I put it out on a group....now, I have to think of something with your three that would go together..Yours is tougher than mine and it takes a little time..I also enjoyed your recipe....thanks so much and have a great evening....
