This can be used to flavor many items, flavor being the key word. It was used to flavor bread in a book called No Need to Knead by Susan Dunaway. I use them to flavor all sorts of things, bread, meats, salads.

Now that's something I've never tried before, but I'm willing to experiment - I think I would really like this on pork loin...or would add an interesting flavor to a salad with some bleu cheese and pears maybe?
