Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats (not quick cooking)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (I usually eyeball it)
  • 2 packets splenda
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Raisins

Directions
  1. In a microwave safe bowl, combine oats, water, and sprinkle cinnamon on top. (I never stir it...the cinnamon stirs in better after it cooks.)
  2. Pop in Microwave cook on high 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from microwave and stir. stir in splenda then vanilla and raisins.
  4. Enjoy!

Only way to make oatmeal...none of those pre-packaged things for me!!

I really love this! Sometimes I add a pinch of nutmeg or almond extract too. :) You get a full serving of fruit w/ the raisins.

The four point mention caught my eye. Love that it is two points if I leave out the raisins.

Yup...it really comes in handy if you don't have many points left at the end of your day but want something more to eat!

I just wanted to mention that I like my oatmeal w/ a good amount of cinnamon...but you might like less. So add to your liking. :)

Sounds quick and yummy for me to grab beforeleaving for work! thanks

Great recipe thanks high5

Without the raisins this is 2.5 pts for the American scale
