Cans are great to bake bread in. My grandmom always cooked her babka in them along with pans. Be sure to butter them well!! That is it!!
Hope you are well. Hugs, Teri. Don't worry they will be fine!

Well I haven´t done it, yet, great idea, I think butter the tin well,it´s a great idea or maybe put also some baking paper, you can decorate them with great wraping paper too, wish you luck, I hope you can post the recipe and picture later.

I have some fancy tin tubes from the Pampered Chef. Look like a tin can but shaped into stars, hearts & others. The directions say:-
Thoroughly grease tube with vegetable oil, spray or shortening.
Use thick batters. Fill 2/3 full, do not over fill. Cool in tube 10 - 15 mins & then turn out & cool completely.
Hope these directions help cause these tubes aren't much different from a tin can except the bottom & top have a cap which makes it easier to remove baked cake or what ever. I think I would cut a circle of wax paper out the inside diameter of the can & after you grease the bottom, push in down to the bottom to ensure easy removal. Hope this helps
