Mothers Buns

- 1 c milk shopping list
- 1/4 c sugar shopping list
- 1/4 c shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 lg Tbs sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 pks dry yeast shopping list
- 1/4 c warm water shopping list
- 3 1/2 c flour shopping list
How to make it
- Scald milk, add sugar, shortening and salt, let cool
- Soften yeast in warm water with the 1 lg Tbs sugar
- When milk is cool, add eggs - beaten slightly and yeast
- Stir in flour a little at a time
- Cover and let rise twice it's size.
- Shape into buns and let rise again
- Dough will be sticky, so four your hands while trying to shape into buns.
- Bake at 375 for about 12-14 minutes
