Baked Potatoes on the Grill

- 4 Med - Lg potatoes, your choice (We like red ones) shopping list
- EVOO shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list
- aluminum foil shopping list
- GARNISHES shopping list
- butter shopping list
- cheese shopping list
- Sourcream shopping list
- chives shopping list
- bacon bits, or, bacon fried and crumbled shopping list
- salt shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat grill to medium heat
- Scrub potatoes well, so you can eat the crispy skins!
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork
- Lay out a piece of foil on the counter for each potato (to minimize the messiness that will ensue), shiny side up
- Lay a potatoe on each piece of foil
- Drizzle each with about 2 T EVOO
- Generously sprinkle each with Kosher salt
- Pick up potatoe and rub oil and salt all over
- Wrap tightly in foil, shiny side to potato
- Place on top rack of grill, or, turn heat off of one side, and place on the side with no heat
- Grill about 35 minutes with lid closed
- Turn halfway over
- Grill another 35 minutes or so
- Check for doneness with fork
- Should slide in with no resistance
- Garnish as desired and enjoy!!
