Peamutt Butter Doggy Bone Recipe

This recipe comes from The Doggy Bone Cookbook by Michele Bledsoe. My four-year-old and I had a great time making these for our puppy, and she loved them too.

Ingredients
- 1/4 C. peanut butter
- 1 Tb. vegetable oil
- 1 C. water
- 2 1/4 C. whole wheat flour
- 1 C. oatmeal
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, oil and water.
- Gradually add flour and then oat meat. (I had to kneed by hand towards the end.)
- Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter. (bone shaped if possible)
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes.
