Pats Sour Cream Cake With Lemon Drizzle

- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 sticks unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 cups Softasilk cake flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, softened shopping list
- juice of one large lemon shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- With mixer, in mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar well
- Then add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition
- Add sour cream and flour, which has been sifted with soda and salt
- Add vanilla
- Pour into a greased and floured Bundt cake pan
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until brown
- Cake will spring back when touched lightly
- Glaze cake while hot
- GLAZE
- In large bowl, mix butter, lemon, juice and powdered sugar until smooth
