Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dump Beans and Tomatoes in crock pot set on high.
  • In a skillet, add 1/2 can Beef Broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add chopped onion to skillet and begin to soften.
  • Add Ground Turkey to skillet and brown well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add Chili & Garlic Powders.
  • Add Tomatoes and Beef Stock to crock pot.
  • Add Turkey to crock pot.
  • Cook on high 4 hours then reduce heat to medium for 4 more hours
  • Cornbread:
  • Mix boxed cornbread according to directions, replacing eggs with Egg Beaters and milk with Non-Fat 1/2 & 1/2.
  • Heat an oiled cast iron skillet in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Add cornbread mixture and bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve hot.

    I made this today..to combat a very cold and snowy day. Came out delish..I will make it again. Although it doesn't say when to add the wine in, so I drank it, just kidding I put it in before it all went into the crockpot :)
