How to make it
- Peel and slice carrots lengthwise; slice into 2-inch pieces.
- In medium saucepan, simmer carrots 1 cup water with salt until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
- Mix together butter, brown sugar, and 5 - 6 drops water in a small frying pan. Stir over low heat until you have a dark syrup. Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring to coat carrots. Serve.
