Easy Delicious Poached Salmon In Crock Pot Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets ( could be salmon steaks )
  • 1/2 pint water
  • 1/4 pint white wine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 peppercorns
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • Few springs of fresh oregano or thyme
  • 1 small onion sliced into thin circles
  • 1 Fresh lemon sliced ( garnish )
  • Fresh parsley ( garnish )

Directions
  1. Lightly oil the bottom of the slow cooker and place the salmon evenly on the bottom. Heat remaining ingredients to a near boil.
  2. Pour over the salmon in crock pot.
  3. Cover and cook low for approximately 3 hours or until salmon is cooked and done.
  4. Carefully remove salmon.
  5. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and lemon slices.
  6. Yield: 2 to 4 servings.
