Easy Elegant Cranberry Salad Recipe

So EASY. Wonderful for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Need extra time, this is the salad to prepare. Also, a perfect "take along' salad. Simply delicious

Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped fresh cranberries
- 1/2-3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup green seedless grapes, halved
- 1 cup Granny Smith apples, diced*
- 1/2 cup *toasted* pecans
- 1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped and not sweetened
- *I have used both Delicious and Granny Smith, the red and green adds color
Directions
- In large bowl mix together the first 3 ingredients
- Refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnight
- Stir in next 3 ingredients until mixed well
- Add whipped cream, folding in
- This is very beautiful served in a glass or crystal serving bowl
