Cranberry Apple Salad

Great tasting molded salad. Wonderful for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 cans whole cranberry sauce shopping list
- 2c boiling water shopping list
- 2 pkgs(3oz.) strawberry jello shopping list
- 2 Tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 1c light mayonnaise shopping list
- 2c diced apples shopping list
- 1/2c chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Melt cranberry sauce over med. heat. Drain,reserving liquid and berries. Mix together cranberry liquid,boiling water and jello. Stir till jello is dissolved. Add lemon juice and salt. Chill until mixture mounds slightly on spoon.
- Add mayonnaise;beat till smooth. Fold in cranberries,apples,and nuts.
- Pour into 2qt. mold. Chill overnight.
