Spiced Pumpkin Fudge Recipe
I found this recipe in the paper and thought I would share it on this Halloween.

Ingredients
  • 2cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light borwn sugar
  • 11/2 sticks of butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 cups white morsels (12 oz)
  • 1 (7oz) marshmallow creme
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 11/2 t. vanilla

Directions
  1. Line an oblong cake pan with foil.
  2. combine sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk, pumpkin, butter and spice in medium, heavy duty saucepan.
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil oaver medium heat, stirring constantly for 10 to 12 minutes or until candy tehrmometer reaches 234 degrees to 240 degrees, the soft ball stage.
  4. Quickly stir in morsels, creme, nuts and vanilla.
  5. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until morsels are melted.
  6. Immediately pour into prepared pan.
  7. Stand on wire rack for two hours or until completely cool.
  8. Refrigerate tightly covered.
  9. To cut, lift from pan and remove foil.
  10. Makes 48 2" pieces.

My sister had pumpkin fudge at a fall festival last year and raved about it. I am trying out all the recipes (that sound good) for it that I find. Thanks for this one!
