Peanut Butter Stars Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup butter; softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups flour; sifted

Directions

Cream peanut butter, butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add egg and vanilla.

Mix in flour until blended.

Press through cookie press onto ungreased baking sheets.

Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until firm and light golden at edges but not brown.

Transfer to wire racks to cool.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
