Hake Crumble

- 6 Hake Fillets shopping list
- 200ml milk shopping list
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 20ml sunflower oil shopping list
- 2 leeks, chopped shopping list
- 250ml white sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- ~ For the Crumble ~ shopping list
- 75g butter (room temperature) shopping list
- 175g flour shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Place Hake and Milk in a frying pan.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Parboil the potatoes and carrots until al dente and drain.
- Heat oil in frying pan and lightly fry the leeks, carrot and potato
- Add to the fish and milk.
- Then stir in the White Sauce, salt and pepper
- Spoon into a casserole dish.
- To make the Crumble:
- Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
- Sprinkle over the fish and bake for 20 minutes and serve.
