Ingredients
  • 6 Hake Fillets
  • 200ml Milk
  • 2 Potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 Carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 20ml Sunflower oil
  • 2 Leeks, chopped
  • 250ml White sauce
  • Salt and Pepper
  • ~ For the Crumble ~
  • 75g Butter (room temperature)
  • 175g Flour

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Place Hake and Milk in a frying pan.
  3. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  4. Parboil the potatoes and carrots until al dente and drain.
  5. Heat oil in frying pan and lightly fry the leeks, carrot and potato
  6. Add to the fish and milk.
  7. Then stir in the White Sauce, salt and pepper
  8. Spoon into a casserole dish.
  9. To make the Crumble:
  10. Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
  11. Sprinkle over the fish and bake for 20 minutes and serve.

Hey, yes I was thinking about using Haddock and substituting the potatoes and carrots with broccoli and cauliflower with lot n lots of cheese!
