Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  • Place Hake and Milk in a frying pan.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  • Parboil the potatoes and carrots until al dente and drain.
  • Heat oil in frying pan and lightly fry the leeks, carrot and potato
  • Add to the fish and milk.
  • Then stir in the White Sauce, salt and pepper
  • Spoon into a casserole dish.
  • To make the Crumble:
  • Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
  • Sprinkle over the fish and bake for 20 minutes and serve.

    Thanks for the high 5, Jules. I'm sure it would work with any fish. Even haddock should be great.
