Linguine with Spicy Red Clam Sauce

- 1 package fresh linguine shopping list
- 1 T EVOO shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion shopping list
- 1 T minced garlic (or more if you like garlic :D) shopping list
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper (or more if you like it spicy :D) shopping list
- 2 T tomato paste shopping list
- 14.5 oz. can no-salt-added diced tomatoes, drained shopping list
- 2 6.5 oz. minced clams, drained shopping list
- 2 T fresh chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 T fresh chopped basil shopping list
- 1 T fresh chopped oregano shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to directions
- Heat EVOO in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
- Add onion, garlic, crushed red pepper to pan; saute 3 minutes or until onion slightly browned
- Stir in tomato paste and tomatoes; cook 4 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly
- Stir in clams; cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated
- Remove from heat; stir in parsley, basil & oregano
- Mix with pasta
- Enjoy!
