Pacific Pan Roasted Oysters

- 1 cup fresh medium oysters shopping list
- 3 eggs slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 4 teaspoons water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1/2 cup catsup shopping list
- 1 tablespoon horseradish shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in large cast-iron or heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Mix flour, salt and pepper.
- Mix eggs and water.
- Dip each oyster in flour then egg mixture then bread crumbs before putting in skillet.
- Cook approximately 3 minutes per side.
- Combine catsup, horseradish, lemon juice and Worcestershire and mix well.
- Serve oysters hot with sauce.
