Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter, softened and unsalted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 lg. eggs
  • 1 cup flour, all purpose
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, semi sweet

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into mixing bowl
  3. In another mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, and peanut butter with hand mixer until light and fluffy
  4. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until smooth
  5. Add dry mixture to wet mixture and beat until combined
  6. Add chocolate chips
  7. Drop dough by tbls. about 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Put on rack in middle of oven and bake for 10 minutes
  9. Remove from oven and transfer to cooling rack
  10. Makes 64-68 cookies...Recipe can be halved
