The rum runner is a classic drink. This is a sparkling version you can serve as an aperitif or with dinner. This is from Chow!

Ingredients
- 1 part rum
- 1 part rum syrup
- 1 part pineapple juice
- 1 dash angostura bitters
- 5 parts sparkling wine
- 1 slice lime for garnish
Directions
- Combine rum,rum syrup,pineapple juice and bitters and stir until well blended
- Pour rum mixture into a glass and top with sparkling wine. Squeeze lime into drink and drop slice into glass
