9 layer salad

This is a favorite of this area and great to serve groups. Can be made ahead.
Ingredients
- 1 c. celery shopping list
- 1 large bell pepper shopping list
- 1 med onion shopping list
- 1 can English peas drained well shopping list
- lettuce, washed and drained extremely well shopping list
- 1 or more c. sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled shopping list
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. salad dressing shopping list
- 8 oz sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Layer salad in large bowl as follows
- lettuce
- celery
- pepper
- onion
- peas
- Dressing
- sprinkle 2 TBSP of sugar on top of dressing
- cheese
- bacon
