Holiday Ginger Snap Gravy Recipe
This is a wonderfully delicious gravy to top the turkey this thanksgiving! Wonderful on the cornbread dressing or mashed potatoes and soooooo easy to make! You will love the flavor and the ease of this gravy!

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 quart chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon creole spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • ginger snaps

Directions
  1. Cook onions, celery, garlic in butter.
  2. Add broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in creole spice, black pepper, and brown sugar.
  4. Cook 1 to 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in ginger snaps a few at a time, whisking until well blended.
  6. Continue adding snaps until the thickened.
  7. Place in blender and puree until smooth.
  8. Serve with or on side of pork, turkey, or chicken or game.
  9. YUMMY!
