How to make it

  • Brown ground turkey and seasoning of choice in deep-dish frying pan, drain any excess fat from cooking, re-season as needed or to taste as you go along. Add to skillet mushrooms, onions and garlic powder and sauté briefly. Add in rice, cabbage, celery, sprouts and any additional seasonings you may like, and the NSA chicken broth so that it covers the turkey and veggies. Cook over medium heat and let gently bubble. Add more chicken broth if necessary. Turn heat down and allow to simmer till rice is almost done.
  • Add Cream of Mushroom Soup and stir and continue to cook until desired thickness and rice is done. Add the can of peas towards the end of cooking so they don't get mushy, but still get cooked. You should end up with a creamy texture.
  • Serve it up and enjoy!
