How to make it

  • Place green beans and carrots in a large pot that has 1 inch of boiling water in it. Cover and cook until crisp-tender. Drain.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and mushrooms until almost tender. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in green beans, carrots, salt, cajun seasoningt, garlic powdert, and pepper. Cover, and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings.
