Bayou Seafood Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 8oz package of cream cheese

1 stick of butter plus 2 tbsp

1 can of shrimp (I also use fresh shrimp)

1 can crab

1 large onion chopped

1 bell pepper chopped

2 ribs celery chopped

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can of mushrooms drained

1 tbsp garlic salt

1 tsp of tabasco (I use more)

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

3/4 cup of cooked white rice

3 cups graded sharp cheese

cracker crumbs

Directions

Melt cream cheese and butter

Place in large mixing bowl

Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in 2 tbsp butter

Add to the first mixture

Stir in mushroom soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crab, shrimp and rice.

Mix well

Place in 2 quart casserole dish and top with cheese and cracker crumbs

bake at 350 for about 20-30 min, until bubbly
