Similar to a friend's recipe from here, but this is our version we've been making forever. Great end to an autumn meal.

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon quality apple cider
  • 2 liter Ginger Ale(or a crisp sparkling wine or champagne can be subbed)
  • 1/2 gallon quality ice cream(we use Butter Pecan or a toffee pieces flavor, most often)

Directions
  1. Place about 2 scoops ice cream in each serving glass
  2. Top with 1 cup cider
  3. Add 1/2 cup Ginger Ale, slowly, to create "float"
