Pineapple Squares Recipe

How to make it

  • You will need a large cookie sheet with deep sides to bake this in.
  • mix pineapple, sugar and tapioca and set aside
  • mix criso, flour, salt and milk to make pastry, then divide in 2
  • line bottom of pan with half, fill with pineapple mixture, cover with other half
  • make sure to cut slits on top for steam to come out while baking
  • bake at 350 for 45-50 mins
  • while still slightly warm put icing on and sprinkle with walnuts
