Pineapple Squares

from a recipe exchange. not sure on the servings.
Ingredients
- 3 small tins crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 9 tbsp minute tapioca shopping list
- 1 lb Crisco shopping list
- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- icing shopping list
- 1/4 lb Philly cream cheese shopping list
- 1 lb icing sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp milk shopping list
- and chopped walnuts to sprinkle on top shopping list
How to make it
- You will need a large cookie sheet with deep sides to bake this in.
- mix pineapple, sugar and tapioca and set aside
- mix criso, flour, salt and milk to make pastry, then divide in 2
- line bottom of pan with half, fill with pineapple mixture, cover with other half
- make sure to cut slits on top for steam to come out while baking
- bake at 350 for 45-50 mins
- while still slightly warm put icing on and sprinkle with walnuts
