How to make it

  • Cookie:
  • In bowl,sift flour,baking powder sugar salt.
  • Work in butter as if you are making a pie crust.
  • Add eggs,milk,vanilla.
  • Break off pieces of dough about the size of a Walnut.
  • Roll out on floured board.
  • Place a tablespoon of filling in center and fold pastry over so as to form a roll,pinch edges together,moist the edges with a little water to make sure there is a good seal before folding the pastry over.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Glaze with a confectioners' sugar icing,while still warm.
