How to make it

  • Drain oysters reserving 1/4 cup of the oyster broth.
  • Cook rice according to directions, set aside. Saute mushrooms and celery in butter, add the oysters and cook for 5 minutes, until edges curl up. Add flour, cook flour 1 minute, add the half and half and reserved broth. Stir until smooth. Add wild rice to oyster mixture, stir well to combine. Put mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs
  • Bake 350 degree oven for 30 minutes
