Crustless Jarlsberg Quiche

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups small curd-cottage cheese OR ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard shopping list
- 9 large eggs shopping list
- 11 ounces cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 3/4 pound jarlsberg cheese, grated shopping list
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Whisk in the flour off the heat.
- Whisk until well combined.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Gradually add milk, whisking until all milk is added.
- Cook and stir until medium thickness is reached.
- Set aside.
- Combine the baking powder, mustard and salt with the cottage cheese.
- Beat in the cream sauce.
- Fold Jarlsberg and Parmesan cheeses into mixture.
- Pour mixture into two 10" buttered pie plates.
- Bake for 45 minutes OR until puffed and browned.
