Sugared B-Sprouts with Bacon

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and scored shopping list
- 6 slices your favorite bacon shopping list
- 1/4-1/3 c chicken stock shopping list
- 2 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Remove outer, wilted leaves from sprouts, trim, and score deeply without totally halving.
- Roughly chop slices of bacon.
- Heat 2 or so tablespoons of olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in chopped bacon and cook until crisp.
- Toss in brussels sprouts and cook 2-3 minutes. Add chicken stock, stirring to loosen any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add brown sugar and stir well to dissolve.
- Reduce heat to medium and allow to gently simmer 12-15 minutes or until brussels sprouts are tender and liquid has reduced to a glaze.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
