Ingredients

How to make it

  • Remove outer, wilted leaves from sprouts, trim, and score deeply without totally halving.
  • Roughly chop slices of bacon.
  • Heat 2 or so tablespoons of olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in chopped bacon and cook until crisp.
  • Toss in brussels sprouts and cook 2-3 minutes. Add chicken stock, stirring to loosen any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add brown sugar and stir well to dissolve.
  • Reduce heat to medium and allow to gently simmer 12-15 minutes or until brussels sprouts are tender and liquid has reduced to a glaze.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.

I'm the only one in our family that like sprouts. This is a great recipe. You got 5 from me. I'll make it and have it all myself. LOL.
