How to make it

  • In large skillet, heat oil. Brown chicken on both sides.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Drain off fat.
  • IN bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

    I made this last night and ever since I've been debating on whether or not to leave a comment. This was just OK. Maybe my expectations were too high since your Chicken Spareribs were phenomenal (Infact we have them alteast once a month) or b/c the ingredients sounded like this was going to bite back. This was kind of bland. Infact I doubled the sauce ingredients due to the fact it didn't seem like there was going to be enough especially since the cloves of garlic looked larger than normal and so did the thighs and the dish still pretty much tasted like garlic. Maybe it's due to the brands I used. It tasted fine but I'm not sure I'd make it again.
