When I was younger, I went to this renaissance(? I think that was it) era celebration at a local church. One of the stands was making a treat from that time - i remember liking it very much. It seems that dates are in season so I hope you enjoy this one!
Ingredients
- Amounts depend on how many you want to make :) shopping list
- pitted dates shopping list
- whole almonds - unblanched - salted would taste good I'm sure shopping list
- Confectioner's sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Stuff an almond into a date.
- Roll in confectioner's sugar.
- Pop it in your mouth!

Don't be madmommy, you got my five! Couldn't resist, sorry. My mother used to slit the dates, fill the slit with peanut butter and shove an almond into the PB. Thanks for sharing, mad.
