It is a special recipe made for all occasions in south india...it has a deep flavour&aroma...made from a mixture of spices,rice(usally basmati)meat/vegetables.......

Ingredients
  • 2 b. onions , slice
  • 11/2 tomato , sliced
  • Pinch of tumeric pwd
  • 2 bay leaves,cloves,cinnamon,cardamon,star anise..
  • 2 tbsp gin-gar paste
  • 2 tsp chillypowder
  • 2tsp coriender powder
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 3-4 green chilly-chopped
  • 1 bunch of coriender leaf&mint leaf-chopped
  • lime jiuce-1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Ghee-2tsp(optional)
  • 2 C Basmati rice , pre soaked and drained
  • 1 M chicken(rub -1tsp of lemon juice,turmeric,chillypowder-marinate)

Directions
  1. In oil&ghee,add bayleaf,cardamon,staranise,cinnamon..
  2. Add the onions&saute it out,till it becomes soft
  3. Add turmeric powder,ginger-garlic paste&saute
  4. Add chilly,coriender powder,green chilly&fry until raw smell disappears
  5. Then add,tomatoes,once it's cooked add the chopped leaves
  6. Now,add the chicken pieces&mix well
  7. Add the drained basmati rice&just mix it well to the masala...
  8. Add 3C water,salt to taste
  9. Pressure cook it or rice cooker
  10. Can be served with cucumber r onion raita.....
