How to make it

  • Line a 13x9x2 pan with aluminum foil, extending foil past the pan edges.
  • Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Coarsely chop 1/2 cup of walnuts in food processor.
  • Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  • Mix in the coconut.
  • Pulse remaining nuts, flour, both sugars and butter until "clumps" form.
  • Add 1 cup of dough to reserved nuts.
  • Pat remaining dough into prepared pan.
  • Mix together orange zest and cranberry sauce.
  • Spread cranberry mixture over dough in pan.
  • Sprinkle the reserved dough "clumps" evenly over sauce.
  • Bake for 40 minutes OR until browned.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Cool completely.
  • Cut.

    These are pretty amazing tasting, mar. I am pretty much a cranberry freak but when you add nut to the equation, I'm a goner. Enjoy and thanks for the five.
