Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream together Sugar,Butter,Eggs.
  • Add Lemon and Vanilla.
  • Add Flour ,mix well. \
  • Take Pecans and Chop in Blender a cup at a time
  • .Mix into batter,pour into greased (sprayed) tube pan.
  • Bake at 250 for 2 1/2 hrs.

    Dutchie, I made this cake today and its very good. And I did cook it as per your instructions for 2 1/2 hours! It has a really nice flavor. This would be great for picnics. I only took out one small slice so your cake will be part of our Thanksgiving meal this year. Thanks so much for the unique recipe! If you have any more like this one, please post them!     yes it takes 21/2 hours on low heat. I will see if I can find a pic.

    Five cups of pecans? What an interesting recipe! Does it really take 2 1/2 hours to bake? I wish you'd post a picture of the cake. I'd love to see how it looks after baking. It sure sounds good though. Thanks for posting the recipe. I'm dying to see what it looks like!
