A great tasting dip for chips, bread cubes or crackers. Might even be good on a sandwich or burger?

Ingredients
  • 1 - 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk (or more if want smoother for chips)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons garlic
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • pinch pepper, if desire

Directions
  1. Hint: With a kitchen shears, cut the bacon in small pieces and fry that way. No need to crumble after cooking then.
  2. Blend together with a hand mixer all the ingredients.
  3. Make at least a day ahead of serving.
  4. Store in the refrigerator, of course.
  5. Other ideas for alterations or additions:
  6. Leave out the bacon
  7. Stir in prepared horseradish
  8. Add sauteed onion or onion powder
  9. stir in shredded mozzarella and/or cheddar cheese
  10. Leave out milk and spread on rye crisp, pita chips, etc.
  11. Spread on mini-rye bread and top with slice of cucumber or tomato
  12. Stir in canned salmon
  13. Stir in canned clams
  14. Stir in chopped tomatoes
