Crockpot Tamale Pie

- 2 c. chicken broth shopping list
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 1T. Chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage links (cut into bite size pieces) shopping list
- 1 lb. Beef Stew meat; (cut into bite size pieces) shopping list
- 1 Onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c. Finely chopped celery shopping list
- 1 Mild green chile pepper, seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c .Chopped sun-dried tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can (2.5 oz) sliced ripe Olives; drained shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1/8 t. pepper shopping list

- shredded cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Bring broth to boil in medium saucepan.
- Stirring constantly, slowly add cornmeal.
- Simmer mixture 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Stir in cilantro.
- Using a greased spatula, spread cornmeal mixture on bottom and about 2 "up sides of crockpot.
- In large bowl, combine sausage, stew meat, onion, celery, chile pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, sliced olives, salt and pepper. Carefully spoon into center of cornmeal-lined pot.
- Cover and cook on low setting 7 to 8 hours.
- Garnish as desired.
