Maple Candy Balls

- 1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 2 tablespoons maple extract shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts shopping list
- 1 (2-pound) package confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 24 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, mix together EAGLE BRAND, butter, maple extract and nuts. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar.*
- Roll into 1-inch balls. Keep refrigerated until ready to dip.
- In heavy saucepan or double broiler, over low heat, melt chocolate Dip balls into chocolate Place on wax paper lined baking sheet until set. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator
- ****Tip Candy mixture can be chilled in refrigerator up to 2 days before rolling into balls
