  • 1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 tablespoons maple extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 (2-pound) package confectioners' sugar
  • 24 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Directions
  1. In large bowl, mix together EAGLE BRAND, butter, maple extract and nuts. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar.*
  2. Roll into 1-inch balls. Keep refrigerated until ready to dip.
  3. In heavy saucepan or double broiler, over low heat, melt chocolate Dip balls into chocolate Place on wax paper lined baking sheet until set. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator
  4. ****Tip Candy mixture can be chilled in refrigerator up to 2 days before rolling into balls
