Lazy Daisy Cake

- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter ir margarine shopping list
- FROSTING: shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup half-and-half cream shopping list
- 2 cups flaked coconut shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick, about 4 minutes.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture and beat just until combined.
- In a saucepan, bring milk and butter to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add to batter and beat until combined.
- Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Combine frosting ingredients; spread over warm cake.
- Broil until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Yield: 16-20 servings.
