How to make it

  • In a 10 inch skillet cook lamb, leek, garlic and those optional mushrooms over medium heat, stirring frequently, until lamb is brown; drain
  • Stir remaining ingredients except tomatoe sause into the lamb mixture.
  • Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
  • Remove bay leaf. Stir in tomatoe sauce; heat through.
